Baker folding pasties by hand in the kitchen

Our Story

Born from
miner tradition.

The copper country pasty wasn't invented in a fancy kitchen — it was built for hard work. Miners needed something portable, filling, and honest. A hand-pie they could carry underground, eat with muddy gloves, and trust to keep them going for twelve hours.

My Dad Nick's carries that same spirit into Livonia. Every pastie is still folded the old way — by hand, with real ingredients, and with the kind of care that comes from treating a simple recipe like a promise.

We're not a chain. We're not fast food. We're a neighborhood cafe where the oven's been running since morning, the coffee's always fresh, and you're welcome to stay as long as you need.
